Mum wants: Cats.
We are not the pinnacle.
Human evolution is not complete.
Over the next 100,000 years humankind gradually evolved into cats, along the way developing the time machine.
When resources on the planet were funally exhausted, these cats of the future sent their greatest and richest citizens back through time to our history, to enslave the human race.
The cats thus became our masters - living a life of pure luxury while humans toiled to produce food and shelter and comfort for them.
