Card 0031 - Tree

When one of my workmates, Colin, left last year, I drew his name on the envelope for his card, using images of things related to his hobbies for the letters. Recently, another of my workmates, Sheena, asked me to draw her name in a similar style on the personal whiteboard that sits by her desk, so I did so after work when she had gone home, and then I secreted this card behind her desk monitor where it'll be found next time there's a spring clean.

Sheena emailed me a couple of weeks later with the following:

I found it exactly where you left it!!
I suppose you were not expecting me to find it so soon, I definitely would not have if my computer was not (being changed for another one) today!
I loved it and it has definitely inspired me!
I have always stood out, always attracted attention and have never been part of a crowd because I am a twin, and that is who I handed the postcard too since I know she will also be inspired by this unique form of art.

I've been told that this has inspired a practice of leaving hidden notes for each other around the house, which I think is kind of wonderful.
