Art Project March

APM day 03
Unsure as to what this was about? Check the pitch.

03 March:

David Proctor wants the Subterranean Homesick Blues.

This song has a particularly famous music video, where Bob Dylan holds up a pile of cuecards with quotes from the song, discarding them out of camera shot as the song plays in the background. There are 64 cards in all, and I have represented the content of each with a pictogram. I kept the images simple and in black and white, in homage to the original video.

In order, the cards read as follows:

Basement / Medicine / Pavement / Government / Trench Coat / Laid Off / Bad Cough / Paid Off /
Kid / Did / When / Again / Alleyway / New Friend / Coonskin Cap / Pig Pen /
20 Dollar Bills / Ten / Fleet Foot / Black Soot / Heat Put / Bed But / Anyway / Many Say /
Must Bust / District Attorney / Look Out! / It don't matter / Tiptoes / No Dose / Those / Fire Hose /
Clean Nose / Plain Clothes / Wind Blows / Get Well / It's Hard / Write Braille / Get Jailed / Fail /
Watch It! / Here They Come / Users / Theatres / Whirlpool / New Fool / Leaders??? /
Pawking Metaws / Get Born / Short Pants Romance / Get Blessed / Sucksess / Please Her, Please Him / Don't Lift / Day Shift /
Dig Yourself / Hid / Man Whole / Scandals / Bum / Chew Gum, No / The Vandals Took All The Handles / What??

So there you go!

Colin drew Mr. Toad, remembering better times.

Done in a rush. Thought bubble should have had more time done on it.

Alex drew a lonely Cthulhu.

Subterranean Homesick Blues - Even in the darkest depths, having lived for star-eons, there are things about the rising apes that the great Cthulhu Spawn envy, compared to their dark and cold home with only smatterings of marine life for company.
